Photography was always a hobby and I took pictures in my spare time and on business trips, printed b&w in my kitchen-darkroom, and did a few weddings. After a slow "wet dry" route to digital, scanning film and adjusting in Photoshop, I switched to digital in 2003 and mentioning it on my site's news page (now called a blog) led to writing my first book on digital b&w.


Recently I've been pointing my camera at historical re-enactment, particularly the Sealed Knot, but I enjoy photographing a range of subjects. 		17
